Accepted Basemap Data Layers and Services

Improve the Basemaps, live feeds, or locations used across Esri’s platform by editing features or contributing authoritative layers through the Community Maps Program.

This page provides a comprehensive overview of the basemap data layers and services accepted by Esri’s Community Maps Program. Your contributed data will enrich these basemaps, live feeds, and the World Geocoding Service hosted in ArcGIS Online for free as part of the Living Atlas of the World.

Community Maps data contributors can use this information to determine which layers to contribute. Click on each layer's popup to see required details for labeling, symbology, and preparation. Data preparation steps will vary on what type of data you will be contributing and how you contribute.
