How to leave Road Feedback
Follow these instructions for providing feedback specifically about Road Centerlines in the Esri Basemaps. Road feedback is like drawing with a colored highlighter on the map to tell Esri what's wrong with the Road Centerlines. Be as detailed as possible to help Esri make edits to the Road Centerlines in the basemaps effectively.
Adding a new or missing Road
If you notice that a new road is missing from the basemap, submit this as feedback.
Once zoomed into the location, select the Add Road option in the Edit Panel.

Turn on the Imagery Hybrid basemap and draw the line as if you are highlighting the missing road on the imagery.

Fill out the form for the new road. You must include a name for the new road, an explanation if needed, and your email so we can contact you with any further questions.

Click create when you are finished.
If you notice a road centerline that is spatially incorrect, alert Esri to fix the alignment of the road to imagery.
Zoom to desired location.

Choose the Align with Imagery to select the Green highlighter.

Highlight the road or part of the road that needs to be aligned.

Fill out the form with any explanation if necessary and leave your email in case we need to contact you with questions.

Click Create when you are finished.
Change Road Classification
Sometimes the Road Centerlines in the basemaps are classified incorrectly. Changing Road Classification means changing a road from Local (thick line on the map) to a Service or Driveway Road (thin line on the map) or vice versa.
Once zoomed to location, Select the Orange highlighter Change Road Classification.

Highlight the road you need to change.

Fill out the form with the type of classification change you are making, an explanation if needed and your email in case we have further questions.

Click Create when you are finished.
If you notice a road in the basemap that does not exist and should be removed, submit this as feedback.
Once zoomed to the location, select the Red highlighter to Delete Road.

Highlight the road or part of the road you wish to delete.

Leave an explanation if needed and leave your email in case we need to contact you with further questions.

Click Create when you are finished.
If you notice a road labeled incorrectly, misspelled, or missing on the Basemap submit this as feedback.
Once zoomed to the location, select the Yellow highlighter to Edit Road Name.

Highlight the road that needs to be edited.

Provide the name of the road, an explanation if needed and an email in case we have further questions.

Click Create to save.
